ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust plc IPO

Through the MOBILIST programme, the UK government has already provided £24.5 million (GBP) of seed capital to the ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust, which successfully listed on the London Stock Exchange on 15 December 2021.

The ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust (TLEI) pursues a triple return investment objective: financial, environmental, and social returns.

The trust invests via equity and equity-like instruments in a diversified portfolio of unlisted sustainable energy infrastructure assets in areas such as: renewable energy power generation, transmission infrastructure, energy storage and sustainable fuel production. TLEI focuses on developing Asian economies, including India, the Philippines, and Bangladesh.

In line with MOBILIST’s objectives, TLEI was successful in attracting a broad mix of institutional and retail investors to support its successful IPO.
