MOBILIST invested in the initial public offering (IPO) of Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC)’s initial public offering (IPO) on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).

CREC is the second-largest solar energy generator in the Philippines in terms of installed solar capacity and operates solar projects with a combined gross installed capacity of 285.1MW.

It plans to use the listing proceeds to fund capital expenditures and pipeline development, which it expects will reduce carbon emissions by approximately 3.3 million tons upon completion over the next three years.

With this investment, MOBILIST supports the increasing role of public markets in financing the energy transition in the Philippines and other emerging markets.
